Samantha joined Montpelier's newly formed marine team in 2009 as an assistant underwriter responsible for underwriting international cargo and specie business. Samantha comes from a background of claims handling and underwriting originating in NFU Mutual & Avon Insurance, Hampshire. She joined Eagle Star's marine cargo underwriting team in Reading in 1995 and, in 2000, she relocated to London and joined the international cargo team. Her career has included appointments within the operation control team where she developed marine process enhancements and business integrity controls and worked with teams based in India and Munich.
