Mike Thompson has over 23 years experience in marine underwriting within
both Lloyd's and Company markets. This includes appointments at ACE at
Lloyd's, Eagle Star Re and GE Frankona Re. Most recently, he served as
class underwriter for Hull and Marine Liability business at Swiss Re in
London. Mike has been a member of the Joint Hull Committee since 2007
and chairs the Navigating Limits Subcommittee which provides a focal
point for the International Insurance market regarding developing
shipping locations such as the Arctic ocean. Mike is accredited with the
ACII.
